I use the Golze ADL180B portable unit in multiple aircraft. With most newer Garmin cockpits the ADL180B emulates FIS-B weather, which means it radiates the satellite weather it receives onwards to Garmin devices which then show it as FIS-B\/ADS-B weather on the screen (G500Txi, GTX345, G3X, …). <\/td>		https:\/\/golze.tech

I’ve tried many different headsets (David Clark, Lightspeed, Sennheiser, …) and always came back to my trusted pair of Bose A20s. The A30s work just as well.

PLB Personal Locator Beacon
<\/strong>
Personal Locator Beacons (PLBs) are compact, subscription-free safety devices used on land or at sea to alert search and rescue teams in emergencies. They are best attached on your person, and to a lifejacket when flying overwater. Once activated, the SAR chain is initiated. At first, the SAR center will try to reach the PLB’s registered owner and relatives by phone to avoid dispatching rescue assets to a false alarm.

Since some EU countries are so backwards that they don’t allow registering PLBs, most people register their PLBs in the UK (so make sure the one you buy is suitable for UK registration).<\/td>		\"PLB\"
